I only have six weeks left now, so this will be my last letter from "Aussie Land". You probably hear this every year, but I can not believe how fast the time has gone, and it is over 9 months since I left my family and friends back home. I have been homesick a couple of times, but it was never for long and I am really proud, that I made it this far ;)
My mother, brother and sister are coming in 33 days, jubiii, and they are going to meet my lovely hostparents and stay in Bridgetown for two days. Then we will fly to Broome in North-West Australia and after two more days in Perth we fly home - together.
I can hardly wait to see them and the rest of my family again and I have allready started the countdown. But I am also trying to enjoy my last month here and get the most out of it, since I do not know, when I will be back.
It will be sad to leave the people I have got to know, but hopefully we will stay in contact and they will forever be in my heart. It is strange, I am sitting in my room, looking forward to going back to my old room, even though I know I will miss it soon.
I feel like I belong to two places now, but Denmark is my home although Australia is an amazing place too. Thank you for sending the letter I wrote on the orientation-camp. It was really fun to read. I must admit not many of my expectations came true, but I have still seen a lot and I will always remeber this year- it changed my life.
So thank you all for giving me this year in Australia, it is an amazing thing and hopefully I am going to see many more places in the world.
